I found eBay and Half.com when I was in college (and before eBay bought out Half.com). It was the best place to get my textbooks, as well as games for my original Nintendo (I was a game junkie back then). Over ten years later (member since April 13, 1999), these are still my first go-to sites when shopping for items.
I used to get so frustrated trying to win auctions on eBay, but thanks to the Buy it Now option, my experiences are much more pleasant. On Half.com, you can save on shipping costs by purchasing items from the same seller. The only drawback with Half.com is that all items are shipped via media mail, with 7 to 14 days delivery time, so if you need something in a hurry, this probably is not a good option for you.
Finished with stuff and having a hard time selling locally? Then list it on one of these sites. I often see lots of children’s clothes or books on eBay, and right now, they even have a deal for you to reduce the listing fees.
Side note: I just recently got a new star for getting my 500th feedback rating. I’m pretty proud of that.
